Naked Bird Watching – how much lower can it get?

January 27, 2010

Sorry I have been out of touch. I had personal issues that I had to tend to. Luckily, my lovely volunteers were helping me to collect signatures and prepare for our new campaign.

Today as I was having my morning coffee, I went to YouTube and randomly put in “bird watching”. Sure enough, the top result was “Naked Bird Watching”. Yes, the girl was hot – but was she moral, that’s the question?”

Reposting from New York Bird Club

Discussion: http://www.websitetoolbox.com/tool/post/luciedove/vpost?id=3334365

Today I went to Chase bank at 86Th St and York Ave (445 E. 86 St. – Channel Club Condominium) and I stopped to say hello to the elder gentleman that sits in the garden area, in front of the bank, to feed breadcrumbs to a few pigeons. Very sadden with tears in his eyes, he told me “This morning I counted 8 dead pigeons here, they are killing the birds! This sweet man has not been told, by anybody in the area, not to feed the birds.

The cowards that are poisoning the birds are doing it while nobody sees them. Isn’t it illegal to kill/poison wild-life in New York?

I remember, a few years ago, dozens of pigeons were being poisoned at that same corner, the building that was killing the birds was 126 East 86 St. People even posted signs outside the bank stating that the building was poisoning birds and the killings suddenly stopped.
Is there anything that could be done to stop this bastards? Is there any local animal welfare agency that would actually do something about this crime?

That’s the “disabled” guy I blogged about before!!!

He WAS making fun of me, I was right! And they misspelled my name so cleverly, ha-ha-ha! Or may be they simply didn’t know how to spell it? Hm…

Well make fun all you want, we ARE standing up for the birds!

CHECK OUT WHAT ELSE THEY ARE MAKING FUN OF (just found it and still in shock).  Political views may vary but this made me cringe. No, watch it!

SPB campaign in the UK

November 1, 2008

This was my first trip to London and people embraced me and my campaign with enthusiastic fervor. Good Conduct Society members in the UK assisted me with an initial protest to STOP BIRD PORN in Hyde Park at Speakers’ Corner. As I stood on a soapbox surrounded by dozens of people, mostly tourists, Ben and Emily passed out hundreds of flyers explaining our mission to brand Bird Watchers as voyeurs. And I urged the growing crowd  of onlookers to LEAVE THE BIRDS ALONE! It doesn’t take a space scientist or member of MENSA to realize that birds do not appreciate PEEPING TOMS when they are engaged in lovemaking.

I found London to be a charming city with friendly people. On the downside, hotels are expensive, the phones don’t work well and bathtubs were built for midgets. In fact, everything is small in Great Britain. It is a tiny country that has to treasure every inch of space. There are rows of houses along small winding streets, many cobblestone ones, that are probably occupied by Lilliputians. Each home has a chimney because burning wood is cheaper than buying oil for heat.

Bird Watching has been a passionate pursuit in the British Isles for centuries. I suspect that aspect of vicarious sexual gratification by their citizens has maintained necessary population control. So, sewing your seeds in the woods helps keep the kids away. There just isn’t enough space.  Nevertheless, birds have feelings too and would like to fuck without being spied upon by a lot of horny Brits who could just as well masturbate at home.

Altogether I wish our former captors could just LEAVE THE BIRDS ALONE!

I accidentally offended a disabled person in an interview, now what?

October 2, 2008

They were interviewing me for Portuguese television, and the guy was talking kinda funny.

Since I am used to hearing laugher as people’s initial reaction (which is nothing – back home some of our supporters got nearly beaten up after a reporter gave out their info to haters), I assumed he was making fun of Good Conduct Society. It also helped that I did not understand a word of the introduction, since it was in Portuguese. So I asked him what the deal was with his talk.

And it turned out he was disabled! Crap!

Feel bad…

Good Conduct Society update

September 10, 2008

We attended both Democratic and Republican conventions and I am very pleased and even overwhelmed with the degree of awareness we were able to raise. Sure, some people laugh. But they would probably also laugh at puppies being skinned alive and claim it’s not for real. Makes me sick to my stomach to even think about how insensitive humans can get.

Overall, we were getting an amazing reaction at both conventions. Pedestrians stopped to listen and learn, one kid even told us a story of his grandfather who used to be a bird pornographer but realized how sick it was and mended his ways. It made me think. We should probably start and grow a movement of Birdwatchers Anonymous to help the ones who are ready to fight their sick addiction. Not a bad idea! Please stay tuned!
